During X's reign, he discovered how to bring people back to life using Anthracyllin. Its healing properties that affect nymphs reanimates corpses, however, the people that died would not be brought back. In their stead, a non-aging version of their body is born. The resurrected would be a whole new person entirely, controlled by the Synthetic Nymph injected into them. They would gain abilities from the anthracyllin, and their host's body may provide abilities to them.

The three resurrected, in order of creation:

Cat

Cat's body belonged to Marx's mother before resurrection. Marx and Natz's father was a good friend to X, and he donated his sons in exchange for the chance for his wife to be brought back to life. The two Ivanov brothers were originally not ecstatic to be a part of his organization, but became quite valuable. The research and resurrection of Marx's mother became top priority after her body was delivered.

As this was very experimental, they had no idea what to expect, and a few months after the nymph was injected, She awoke, but behaved strangely. It didn't take long for them to realize that their mission was largely unsuccessful, because it is impossible to bring back the dead. All they did was move the soul of a cat into a human body, but this was not completely understood by them.

They named her Cat, because of her behaviors. They had to raise her as though she were an infant, which was very strange, since she has the body of a 25 year old woman, and teach her how to speak. When Marx's father found out that his wife was really gone, he committed suicide.

She has a very outgoing personality and cares deeply for her comrades. She is never given assignments, (because Marx has a soft spot for her,) so she just helps whoever she wants, whenever she wants, and even tags along on some trips just for fun. She has naturally pure white hair, but she dyes it crazy colors, because she loves rainbow color. She paints her face with colors too, sometimes, but still hides her aged and deteriorating eyes with a mask. Interestingly, Cat has heterochromia, one eye is blue and the other is orange, despite her host not having this. This is how she is recognized by people who meet her, and their impressions are usually very positive.

Birde

Vi's twin brother, Io was completely destroyed and used up by the scientists and X for the sole purpose of Synthetic Nymph research.

Because of X and Vi's relationship, she was able to convince X to try and resurrect him, despite his saying that her brother wouldn't come back. She really just wanted a friend, and she believed that she would be able to bring him back somehow.

They used the blood of an owl in Io's mangled body after giving it some braces and such to compensate for all that was taken from it. However, he would still not have a voice because of how often Io screamed in agony before he died. Some other notable disabilities would be that he was already long dead, so he is very, very fragile and frail. He would have to be given first aid often, usually putting his bones back into place and such.

Birde was very predatory at first, he attacked anyone who approached, and basically had to be tamed by X and Vi. X saw the potential for great soldiers using this method, however, he believed it was a privilege to be brought back to life.

Birde has large, deep red eyes with black sclera, a trait shared by all three resurrected. His hair is also naturally pure white, but he dyes it black. His spine protrudes from his back a bit, so he always wears a hooded cloak to hide his deformities. Despite this, he is a very talented fighter. He uses polearms such as spears and halberds to put distance between him and his opponent. He doesn't have to fight often though, because he is merely a scout and spy.

Zeph

After X was killed, Marx followed his orders to bring his body back to life. He used the soul of a stoat, because X requested a smart, small predatory mammal. X actually named his body Zephyr.

Vi, still grieving for the loss of her lover, became infatuated with Zeph, and tried to get with him, however, Zeph was not interested in her, or anyone for that matter. He would be her punching bag for a period of time, before he started to defend himself and scare her off. He inherited X's astonishing powers, but wouldn't use them often.

He has the least decomposed body out of the three, and can even pass as a normal, living person.

Zeph, unlike the other two, grew out black hair instead of white hair, like X's. He has black sclera with blueish white irises. He has a very calm and collected personality, and is very resolute. He became the de facto leader of the two other resurrected. He doesn't have to fight often, as he is usually just a guard/ servant for Marx, but during critical missions, he is brought out as an ace card. His only weapon is the magic he wields.
